Another busy weekend coming up…
Friday 13th February we’ll be back at the Nightjar Festival, this time in Geelong. We’re playing at 9pm, full band show.
Saturday 14th you can see Phil & Claire’s other project – the Gathering Tide – at Martians Cafe in Deans Marsh. Valentines Day show, kicking off at 7.30pm.
Sunday 15th sees us back at the Retreat Hotel in Brunswick for an early evening (5-7pm) full band show.
Very busy weekend ahead… first up, the acoustic trio are off to Newstead Live Festival. Phil, CC and Claire will be playing shows at noon on Saturday on the Troubadour stage, then a show at the pool party somewhere betwixt 3>6pm. Then a set for the kids at 9:30 Sunday morning!
Then we race back to Melbourne to appear at the Pier Festival with the full band on Sunday evening. This is in Port Melbourne, and we’ll be playing at 7pm. Heaps of stuff going on, free admission.
Monday sees us back at the Pirate’s Tavern in Williamstown, as part of the Seaworks Maritime Festival. We’re playing sets at 3 and 5pm, full band.
Full band show this Sunday as we head back to the lovely Cowrie Markets on the foreshore in Torquay. We’re playing at midday, and there is no charge…
We’ve released a 7-track live EP today (download only, no CD), featuring a selection of tracks recorded at the National Celtic Festival in Portarlingon (Victoria) back in June last year. You can download it from our Bandcamp store for $2.
Hi folks, hope you all had a great Christmas! We’re gearing up for a busy couple of months, another announcement of dates coming soon once all the details are in. But we’ll be kicking off the 10 Year Anniversary Tour with a Melbourne show on January 11th…
It’s a Sunday afternoon, all ages show at the Bar of Bengal – $10 door, kids free. This is the venue at Kindred Studios in Yarraville, where we filmed a DVD back in 2012. The excellent Jack Gramski starts proceedings at 4pm, followed by the Gun Barrel Straights at 5pm, then us at 6pm. Hope to see you there!
New video clip online this week, a live performance of Haul Away Joe. Captured on the deck of The Enterprize as part of the 2014 National Celtic Festival… so much fun!
So today – October 15th – marks the 10th anniversary of the first Zeptepi gig, in the shabby dark back room of the Belgravia in Footscray! Since that fateful day we’ve performed about 300 shows, released 8 albums and, to the best of our recollection, we’ve had 18 different members play shows with us.
A massive thank you to everyone who’s supported us over the years – check out our 10th Annniversary Photo Album for a trip down memory lane…
Phil is currently working on a side-project called The Gathering Tide, a little more stripped-back and laid-back than Zeptepi. Be sure to check it out, all new songs and a good few gigs coming up over the next few months!
Here’s a clip of The Fisherman, performed at the National Celtic Festival in Portarlington back in June. We took a couple of cameras with us, and recorded the audio too. After much beavering away in the editing room, we’ve finally made some progress – this is the first of a bunch of videos from the festival that we’ll upload over the next week or so. Best version of this song so far?
