Zeptepi are featured this month on WE7.com - the popular British-based music website has an interview with Phil online now. You can access it via the home page or directly here>.

Phil and Hayley play an acoustic show on Sunday June 29th, at Cartel (580 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne) - come down for a mixture of old and new tracks, and a few covers thrown in for good measure.

Well we've been offline for a few weeks thanks to some complications changing web hosts, but we're back online today! No more gigs lined-up for a while for the full band, but there are a couple of acoustic shows coming up in June/July (See gig guide for details).

Still plenty happening though, as we have started work recording the third album, with a view to a release before the end of the year. Also in the pipeline is an album of previously unreleased material spanning 2001-2007.
Lots of new photo's up on our myspace page from recent shows too, and check out the video page here and take your pick from 8 Zeptepi vids now available to view!

Apologies to anybody who turned up at Ruby's Lounge in Belgrave last night expecting to see Zeptepi - we arrived only to find that thanks to a mix up between bookers we weren't playing. Nothing like dealing with professionals...

Posted on the downloads page is a live version of the new track 'The Ballad of John Green', the first Zeptepi recording to feature violin player Hayley Anderson. Recording was taken off the sound desk at the recent Noise Bar show (14th March).
Two more gigs added as well, at Barbukka on Apr 5th and Ruby's Lounge on Apr 8th - see the gigs page for full details.

We're currently revamping the website... sorry for the inconvenience or any weird browser stuff thats happening this week! In the meantime, most of the usual content can be found at the myspace page.

Zeptepi can be seen performing live on Melbourne Channel 31’s music show Asylum TV on tuesday 18th March at 11pm! Two brand new songs are being broadcast from the December 2007 show at Musicland - "The Ballad of John Green" and "Soldier Song".

And if you can’t catch the tv broadcast, the show will be streamed the following week - go to C31.org.au and select the TV Now link from the menu, and then the Asylum link. And if that doesn’t work, we’ll be posting the footage on myspace as soon as we can.

Exciting news in the Zeptepi camp - we have at last recruited a violin player to the band! The wonderful Hayley Anderson has now been added to the lineup, and, along with new keyboard player Bryce Clark is playing a big part in the development of a new Zeptepi sound with a much earthier folky feel. Lots of new songs in the live set which now reflect the changing sound, and we plan to record our third album later in 2008.

First chance to see Hayley play with us is at the Noise Bar in Brunswick on the 14th March. We'll be joined by three more excellent acts - The Uncomfortables, who are over here on tour from the UK, The Collectables and Mark Lanigan. Full details on the gig guide page.

We've posted some new video footage at YouTube - you can see us performing the Lords of the New Church classic 'Russian Roulette' on Chartbusting 80's from March 2007, 'When The Sea' from Universality recorded live at The Espy in May last year and 'Losing My Mind', recorded at The Tote in June 2006. More to come...
